Whyville Art

Some work I did for Numedeon's "Whyville"- an online, social media, educational game. The purpose of the game is to teach kids about math and science. The dragon and it's accessories were designed for Chinese New Year. The other art is for a game about managing energy.

Happy Feet 2 iphone app

Hey! Want to purchase a really cute lil' app? Try Happy Feet 2!
Cus everyone needs a digital penguin in their pocket. :)

I'm not responsible for the Penguin- but I must have cranked out about a dozen bgs.. Check out the app to see what look they ultimately chose. Here's some of the concept art that lead up to it:

Art for social networking games- props

Children's Book

These are some illustrations from a children's book I created for a company called Inviro Studios. This isn't the complete tale... just a few sample pages I randomly pulled from the book. I had a great deal of fun writing and illustrating this little story!

Some more pages from the children's book I did for Inviro

Lil' Robot

Here's a cutsie little robot that I designed for Arthur.

Characters for tshirt design

This character was done for a tshirt design. I tried to make him somewhat graphic, with a max of four colors. I later decided to make him part of a short animation that I did- so with him is a little sketch of a scene...

Buffalo Cat Burgler

Believe it or not- this was the prompt! A nimble, cat-burglar buffalo with Turrets Syndrome. Here is the rendered version with 3 color passes and a pixel version.

Tommy tries

Here's a color sketch for a children's book I'm doing. It's about a tortoise who wants to play baseball, but can't manage to run from base to base.

Disney Princess Castle Props

These are props that are supposed to go in the Disney Princess Castle background. The idea is that you can move the props around- and create whatever environment you like for the princesses.

Princess and the Frog Pillows

These are pillow designs that I did for Disney's Consumer Products. They are a modification of existing character poses, which i painted to look like pillows. A company had designed frog pillows with dangling legs- which put them in the toys category rather than pillows... My job was to figure out how to have the legs and arms be flush.

Some props I drew for fairies products

Disney Princess Castle

I designed this castle for Disney Consumer Products- it's supposed to be a castle and garden where all the princesses can live together. I'm guessing it's their summer home.
